Designing, manufacturing, installation, adjustment, delivery on a turn-key basis of the equipment for manufacturing of pipelines, shaped elements from pipes, metal constructions, details and units for assembly and welding production. Development and co-ordination of technological documentation. Certification of industries connected with processing of pipes, assembly and welding of metal constructions, welding materials. Hydraulic testing of pipes. Technology of pipe procession, assembling and welding works.

2. Contents of the project

At the new built and repaired objects of public utilities the pipes made of carbonaceous steel of various standard sizes are used. The pipelines located inside houses, as a rule, have service life 7-10 years, and those located inside of water-mains and located under the ground have service life even less (4-6 years instead of fixed 25-30 years) because of corrosion processes. For repair the significant means are used. As the foreign experience shows, one of perspective directions to improve the corrosion stability of pipelines is the application of pig-iron pipes with spherical graphite, which has corrosion stability 2 - 3 times higher (according to other data the latter is 5-6 times higher) than that of steel pipes.

The project provides organisation of production for processing and preparation for installation of pipes made of spherical graphite pig-iron for needs of Nikolaev public utilities. As a result there should be achieved an increasing of service life of pipelines in 3 times, reduction of operating costs not less, than in 1,5 times, and also energy saving effect during the repair works not less, than 2 times.

4. Forms of co-operation

• The “Truboobrabotka” ITC provides intellectual potential as well as equipment (partially been at disposal) and industrial areas.

Volume of the required investments: USD 800 000.

The return of the investments is proportional to the sums in accordance with the production sale to the consumers.
